One phone call changed the course of a murder investigation and exposed one of Madhya Pradesh’s most shocking crime stories. On the morning of September 28, 2013, an eight-year-old girl called a family acquaintance in panic, crying, “Uncle, save me… they have killed my mother. They will kill me too.”

The victim, a nurse from Khandwa, was found near a roadside in what initially appeared to be a fatal road accident. However, the child’s testimony raised serious doubts, forcing investigators to reopen the case from a different angle.

As the investigation progressed, police uncovered evidence suggesting that the accident scene had allegedly been carefully staged to conceal a planned murder. What looked like a tragic crash soon turned into a complex criminal conspiracy, with investigators examining the role of people close to the victim, including suspicions surrounding her boyfriend.

The fearless statement of the young girl became the turning point in the case. Her courage helped investigators unravel the truth behind a crime that had shaken the entire state.

The Khandwa nurse murder case remains one of Madhya Pradesh’s most discussed criminal investigations, highlighting how a single eyewitness account can expose an elaborate attempt to hide a murder behind the guise of an accident.
