Supreme Court Issues Notice to Election Commission Over Plea Against CEC Gyanesh Kumar<\/strong><\/h3>\n

New Delhi:<\/strong> The Supreme Court heard a significant petition concerning Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar<\/strong> and the Election Commission. The petition had sought the suspension of the CEC, but the court declined to pass any interim order suspending him.<\/p>\n

The Supreme Court issued a notice to the Election Commission<\/strong> and sought its response on the issues raised in the petition, including the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)<\/strong> of electoral rolls.<\/p>\n
