Indore: Fresh details are emerging in the Lokayukta Police investigation into the assets of Head Constable Firoz Khan. Investigators have reportedly found records of another land parcel in Rajoda village of Dewas district. The agreement for the property, purchased last year, is said to be in the name of his female friend, Roshni Verma.
Land Agreement Shows ₹51 Lakh Value
According to the available information, the land agreement mentions a value of ₹51 lakh, while its actual market value is reportedly worth crores of rupees. The difference has drawn attention to the property’s valuation and the source of funds used for the transaction. However, the actual market value and payment details will need to be established through the investigation.
17 Bank Accounts Under Scrutiny
The Lokayukta Police has examined statements of 17 bank accounts linked to the head constable and reportedly found total deposits of ₹10 lakh. Investigators are also gathering information about possible investments in the stock market and mutual funds to examine the financial trail and compare the assets with his known sources of income.
Farmers’ Allegations Also Draw Attention
Reports related to the case have also referred to accounts shared by farmers who claim to have been affected by the land transactions. Property documents, financial dealings and the circumstances surrounding the purchases are expected to be important aspects of the investigation.
