Amarnath Yatra Halted: Heavy Rain Alert Forces Temporary Suspension of Amarnath & Vaishno Devi Pilgrimages

Srinagar, J&K: Authorities have temporarily suspended the Amarnath Yatra and Vaishno Devi Yatra due to heavy rain forecasts and the risk of landslides. Pilgrims have been stopped at the Baltal and Pahalgam routes as a precaution. Officials said the pilgrimage will resume only after weather conditions improve and safety assessments are completed.
