Shravan first Monday 2026: Grand Rudrabhishek and Maha Aarti to Be Held at Shri Pashupatinath Mahadev Temple in Guna

Guna, Madhya Pradesh: Thousands of devotees are expected to visit Shri Pashupatinath Mahadev Temple, located at Old Bus Stand on A.B. Road in Guna, on the first Monday of the holy month of Shravan. The temple has planned a full-day schedule of special religious ceremonies dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The celebrations will begin in the morning with Vedic chanting, Rudrabhishek, Havan, and Mahabhog offerings. Devotees and families will continue performing Rudrabhishek until 3:00 PM as part of the sacred Shravan Monday rituals.
Preparations for the divine adornment (Shringar) of Lord Pashupatinath will begin in the evening, followed by the Grand Maha Aarti at 7:00 PM. Throughout the day, devotional groups will perform Shiva Bhajans, Kirtans, and spiritual music, filling the temple premises with an atmosphere of faith and devotion.
