Mumbai: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has made a significant statement on India-Pakistan relations, saying that “permanent enmity with Pakistan is not possible.” Speaking during a Gen-Z interaction program, Bhagwat emphasized that while dialogue is essential after conflicts, talks should not take place during military confrontations or terrorist attacks.
He stressed that India must adopt a firm approach against terrorism, describing it as more than just extremist violence. According to Bhagwat, terrorism is backed by an organized ideology and a strategic “thousand cuts” policy, making it a form of hidden warfare. He said such threats must be countered with determination and an appropriate national strategy. His remarks have sparked fresh discussions on India’s Pakistan policy, national security, and the balance between dialogue and counterterrorism.
