45-Year-Old Man Allegedly Targeted Over Nephew’s Dispute; Family Claims Viral Video Left Him Deeply Distressed

Guna, Madhya Pradesh: A disturbing case of alleged public humiliation has come to light in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh, where a 45-year-old man reportedly died after a video of his alleged humiliation went viral on social media.
According to the victim’s family, Ajod Singh Banjara was allegedly held captive around a month and a half ago in connection with a dispute involving his nephew. The family claims he was assaulted, made to wear a garland of footwear and allegedly paraded through the village. A video of the incident was also reportedly recorded.
The family alleges that the video surfaced on social media several weeks later. After watching it, Ajod Singh became deeply distressed. His cousin Tofan Singh reportedly said that Ajod felt people were laughing at him and became extremely upset.
His family rushed him to a hospital in Raghogarh and later tried to take him to the District Hospital in Guna. However, he reportedly died on the way.
The incident is said to have occurred in Horibeh village under the Jhanjali outpost area of Raghogarh. Police are investigating the allegations, the viral video and the circumstances surrounding the death. Further facts are expected to emerge after the investigation.
