*Vijaypur Police Recover Abducted Minor Girl from Kota District, Rajasthan*
*Accused Responsible for Abduction and Rape of the Girl Arrested*
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Police, the Guna Police are treating crimes committed against minors in the district with the utmost seriousness, initiating swift, sensitive, and effective actions in such cases. Continuing this effort—and under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police (Guna), Mr. Man Singh Thakur, and the supervision of SDOP (Raghogarh), Mrs. Deepa Dodwe—the Station In-charge of Vijaypur Police Station, Inspector Rituraj Singh Kushwah, and his team took prompt and effective action in a case involving the abduction and rape of a minor girl. They successfully recovered the minor victim, arrested the accused responsible for her abduction and rape, and have sent him to jail.
It is noteworthy that following the disappearance of a 17-year-old minor girl from the Vijaypur Police Station area during the midnight hours of March 24–25, 2026, her mother filed a missing person report at the police station on March 25, 2026. Acting on this report, the police registered a case under Crime No. 19/26, Section 137(2) of the BNS (Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita), and initiated a search for the girl.
The Vijaypur Police formed special teams to search for the abducted girl, utilizing their network of informants and technical resources to conduct continuous searches across various locations—including Ghaziabad, Hapur, Noida, Delhi, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, and Kota. As a result of these sustained efforts, information was received indicating that the girl was located in the Kota district of Rajasthan; acting on this lead, the police team successfully and safely recovered her on March 30, 2026. Following her recovery, and based on the victim’s statement, it was established that the accused—Parvez, son of Sharafat Khan, a resident of Kolua Pathar village—had lured her away and committed the sexual assault. Based on these grounds, Sections 64(2)(M) of the BNS, 5L/6 of the POCSO Act, and 3(2)(va) of the SC/ST Act were added to the case. Acting with promptness, the police arrested the accused—Parvez, son of Sharafat Khan, a resident of village Kolua Pathar under the Vijaypur Police Station jurisdiction—just yesterday. The arrested accused was produced before the Honorable Court, from where he was remanded to judicial custody and sent to jail.
In this operation conducted by the Vijaypur Police Station, a pivotal role was played by Station In-charge Inspector Rituraj Singh Kushwah, ASI Haricharan Meena, Head Constable Lalchand, Constable Amit Jat (Raghaogarh Police Station), Constable Chandrabhan, Constable Jagdeep Tomar, and Woman Constable Julie Sikarwar; along with Sub-Inspector Jagdish Jatav, Constable Nitesh Patel, and Woman Constable Khushboo Dangi from the Guna Police Lines; and Constable Kuldeep Yadav and Constable Bhupendra Khatik from the Cyber Cell.
