Bhopal. Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Digvijaya Singh, has once again made a significant political move. At the age of 79, he has announced plans to undertake a *padayatra* (foot march) from Ujjain to Ayodhya. Through this journey, he intends to demand answers from the Central Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the issue of electoral funding.
Digvijaya Singh states that the objective of this march is to engage with the public, raise questions concerning electoral donations, and seek accountability from the government. This announcement has stirred up fresh activity in the state’s political landscape.
Political analysts believe that, amidst the run-up to the elections, this *padayatra* by Digvijaya Singh is being viewed as a major public outreach campaign for the Congress party. Meanwhile, an official response from the BJP regarding this announcement is awaited.
