A case has come to light in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district where a young child’s hand was allegedly impaired following the administration of an incorrect injection. The affected family attended the public hearing held at the Collectorate on Tuesday and appealed to the administration for justice.
The aggrieved father alleges that a doctor in the Aron area administered an injection incorrectly, damaging the child’s hand and jeopardizing his future. The father states that the child is now unable to write properly or eat normally using that hand.
During the public hearing, the family submitted a formal application to the administration, demanding an impartial investigation into the matter, action against the responsible doctor, and arrangements for the child’s proper medical treatment. The family says that due to their weak financial condition, they are unable to bear the cost of prolonged treatment.
Upon receiving the complaint, the administration has assured that the matter will be investigated and necessary action taken in accordance with the rules. Information regarding the incident is currently being sought from the concerned health officials.
If negligence is confirmed during the investigation, action may be taken against the doctor involved as per regulations. The investigation into the matter is currently underway.
