Guna Police Solve Robbery and Attempted Gang Rape Case in 24 Hours; Five Arrested, Two on the Run

Guna, Madhya Pradesh: Guna Police solved the sensational robbery and attempted gang rape case involving an engaged couple within 24 hours, arresting five of the seven accused and recovering the stolen mobile phone, wallet, and other belongings.
The incident occurred on July 30 near the Reliance Petrol Pump at Gader village under Dharnawada Police Station, where the couple was allegedly assaulted, robbed, and the woman was subjected to an attempted gang rape. The accused fled after a passerby alerted the Dial-112 emergency response team.
Under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Hitika Vasal and the supervision of Raghogarh SDOP Deepa Dodwe, a Special Investigation Team identified and arrested Bablu Banjara, Chhotu Banjara, Sardar Banjara, Mahendra Banjara, and Dinesh Banjara using CCTV footage, technical evidence, and intelligence inputs. Police said two accused are still absconding, and search operations are continuing.
