Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh: A shocking murder case has sent shockwaves through Ratlam after a mobile phone trader allegedly stabbed his wife to death inside their home in the Manak Chowk police station area. The incident occurred in the Sunaron Ki Bawdi locality, where the accused, identified as Asgar Ali, allegedly attacked his wife, Rukaiya, with a knife, inflicting multiple fatal injuries.
According to police, neighbours rushed to the house after hearing screams and found the woman lying in a pool of blood. The couple’s 7-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son were present in the house during the incident. Police reached the spot, took the body into custody for post-mortem, and arrested the accused.
Manak Chowk police have launched an investigation, while officials said the motive behind the crime is yet to be established. The incident has sparked outrage and concern across the city.
