Mahakal Temple VIP Culture Sparks Protest in Ujjain, Bajrang Dal Demands Fair Darshan System

Ujjain: A protest was held at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain against the alleged VIP culture and irregularities in the temple’s darshan arrangements. Workers associated with Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad raised slogans near the temple’s Shankh Gate and demanded a fair and transparent system for devotees.
Protesters alleged that ordinary devotees often face difficulties during darshan, while VIP visitors receive preferential treatment. They also expressed concern over alleged incidents of misbehavior with devotees and questioned the existing arrangements.
A large number of activists participated in the protest and urged the temple administration to review the VIP darshan system. They demanded that equal priority be given to ordinary devotees and that arrangements be improved to ensure a smooth and respectful darshan experience for everyone.
