Guna Police have solved a major jewellery theft case in Chak Churela village under Fatehgarh Police Station within just six days. Two accused have been arrested, while 985.150 grams of gold jewellery worth approximately ₹1.47 crore has been recovered. Police said the identities of the remaining suspects have also been established and efforts are underway to arrest them.

The theft reportedly took place during the night of August 2–3, when thieves allegedly entered a house and escaped with gold and silver jewellery along with cash. Following the incident, special teams were formed under the direction of Guna SP Hitika Vasal.

Using technical evidence, field investigation, CCTV inputs, intensive questioning and an informer network, police traced the suspects. Teams conducted searches across several districts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

The investigation remains underway, with police continuing efforts to recover the remaining stolen property and arrest the absconding accused.
