Panic ensued in Guna following the discovery of a calf’s head severed from its torso; the incident has sparked widespread outrage in the Ajanta area.
The severed head and legs were found scattered across the industrial zone. Cow vigilantes stated that a post-mortem and preliminary examination conducted at the veterinary hospital indicated that the calf’s head had been severed with extreme brutality. They asserted that this was no ordinary incident, but rather appeared to be a premeditated act. Furthermore, they noted that such incidents involving cattle—including cow smuggling—are occurring with alarming frequency across the district, thereby fueling growing indignation among cow devotees.
