Under the direction of Guna Superintendent of Police, Smt. Hitika Vasal, the Guna Police are conducting a district-wide, extensive public awareness campaign regarding traffic rules.
Continuing this initiative—and under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police, Shri Man Singh Thakur, and the supervision of DSP (Traffic), Shri Mukesh Kumar Dixit—the Traffic Station In-charge (TI), Shri Ajay Pratap Singh, organized a sensitive and highly informative “Jan Chaupal” (public forum) today at the Sheetal Transport Ground. On this occasion, the drivers, transport staff, and general public present were encouraged to strictly adhere to traffic rules, while the importance of road safety was explained to them in great detail.
During the program, through a presentation on “Do’s and Don’ts,” it was illustrated how even a moment of negligence can snatch away a family’s happiness, whereas strict adherence to rules can safeguard not only one’s own life but also the lives of others. Appealing to the public on an emotional level, attendees were urged to cultivate a habit of exercising responsibility and vigilance while driving. Furthermore, detailed information was provided regarding the ‘Rahveer Scheme,’ the ‘Prime Minister’s Relief Scheme,’ and the ‘Hit-and-Run Compensation Scheme,’ ensuring that victims receive timely assistance in the event of an accident, and that the general public can assist the injured—without fear—by demonstrating their humanity. Through this Jan Chaupal, a clear message was conveyed to all those present: “Road Safety is Life Safety,” and the vigilance of every single individual has the power to save many precious lives.
