Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh: A public grievance meeting in Shivpuri’s Narwar turned controversial after Karera BJP MLA Ramesh Khatik allegedly refused to hear complaints from villagers belonging to a different Assembly constituency, saying they were “not his voters.”
Upset by the response, a villager reportedly placed his young child on the bonnet of the MLA’s vehicle in protest, triggering chaos at the venue. Police and locals immediately rescued the child, who was unharmed.
The incident has sparked political debate, with the video circulating widely on social media and raising questions over public accountability and the responsibility of elected representatives.
