Sensational Burglary in Guna: Robbers Lock Family Inside, Escape with 1 kg Gold, 6 kg Silver and ₹10 Lakh Cash

A shocking burglary has been reported from Guna district in Madhya Pradesh, where unidentified thieves allegedly locked family members inside their rooms from the outside before fleeing with valuables worth crores. The accused reportedly stole around 1 kg of gold jewellery, 6 kg of silver, ₹10 lakh in cash, and a motorcycle from the residence of Panchayat Secretary Pawan Meena in Chiroli village.

The incident took place late Sunday night. According to the family, they discovered that the room doors had been locked from the outside when they woke up around 4:30 a.m. After managing to get out, they found the cupboards broken open and household items scattered, while the cash and jewellery were missing.
Upon receiving the information, SDOP Vivek Ashtana and the local police team reached the spot and launched an investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that the burglary occurred between 2:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. Forensic experts (FSL) and the dog squad collected evidence, and multiple police teams have been deployed to trace the accused.
According to the family, the stolen cash included ₹6 lakh belonging to the village temple, which had been kept safely with the Panchayat Secretary. The family is considered one of the well-off families in the village and owns nearly 300 bighas of agricultural land. Police are now examining nearby CCTV footage and investigating all possible leads to identify and arrest the culprits.
