In a shocking case that has stunned Madhya Pradesh, police in Bhind have uncovered the alleged murder of a 45-year-old man, Atar Singh Jatav, in what investigators say was a conspiracy driven by a car loan EMI. According to police, the victim’s son-in-law and younger brother allegedly planned the crime to escape the financial burden of the vehicle registered in Atar Singh’s name.
Investigators claim the accused first made the victim consume a large amount of alcohol, then forced him to ingest poison before allegedly strangling him to death. To mislead police, they reportedly kept the body in the trunk of a car for nearly 24 hours before dumping it beneath a bridge.
The case took a dramatic turn after the post-mortem report indicated poisoning, prompting investigators to re-examine the evidence. Police have arrested both accused and stated that the motive appears to be avoiding repayment of the car loan. The investigation is ongoing.
