Mystery Waves in Gujarat Well Go Viral: Morbi Administration Orders Investigation

Morbi, Gujarat: A video from Virparda village in Gujarat’s Morbi district has gone viral after showing unusual wave-like movements inside a farmer’s well. At first glance, the footage appears mysterious, as if an invisible force is disturbing the water. However, experts believe the phenomenon is likely caused by natural underground pressure changes rather than anything supernatural.
According to local reports, the well has been showing continuous wave-like motion for the past three to four days following heavy rainfall. Geologists suggest the movement may be the result of a Well Seiche or artesian pressure, where underground water pressure creates oscillating waves inside a well. No earthquake activity has been recorded in the area.
Following the viral video, the district administration has ordered an investigation to determine the exact cause. Officials have urged residents not to panic or spread rumors, stating that the phenomenon appears to be natural and that a detailed expert report is awaited.
