Damoh/Patera: A controversy erupted at the Government Excellence School in Patera, Damoh district, during the Independence Day celebration on August 15, when former principal Vandana Gupta allegedly made serious allegations against current in-charge principal Kamlesh Sharma.
While addressing students from the stage, Gupta reportedly urged them to work hard in their studies so that they would never face a situation where they had to “pay money to get the post of principal.” The remarks have sparked a controversy, with the video of the incident rapidly circulating on social media.
Following the viral video, the education department has taken note of the matter. The District Education Officer (DEO) has assured that the allegations will be investigated and appropriate action will be taken based on the findings.
