With the objective of maintaining a robust law and order situation and instilling a sense of security among the general public in light of the upcoming festivals, a grand foot march (Flag March) was conducted across the city’s main thoroughfares this evening, March 24, 2026, under the direction and leadership of Superintendent of Police, Mrs. Hitika Vasal.

This foot march commenced at the Guna Kotwali and proceeded through Sugan Square, Bohra Mosque, Khyavada Square, Pathar Mohalla, Bade Jain Mandir, Rapta, Colonelganj, Pratap Hostel, Shanti Public School, Jagdish Colony, Haat Road, Rapta, and Sadar Bazar, before concluding back at the Guna Kotwali.

All Station House Officers (SHOs) have been directed to exercise heightened vigilance within their respective jurisdictions, keep a strict watch on rumors circulating on social media, intensify patrolling in sensitive areas, and ensure that law and order remains undisturbed under any circumstances.
