Guna Public Grievance Hearing Resolves Citizen Issues Swiftly; 320 Applications Received, Joint Revenue–Panchayat System Delivers Faster Solutions

The weekly public grievance hearing (Jan Sunwai) at the Guna District Collectorate witnessed the registration of 320 applications, with district authorities taking prompt action to address public concerns. Acting on the directives of the Madhya Pradesh government, Collector Kishore Kumar Kanyal personally heard grievances and instructed officials to ensure quick and time-bound resolution.
To improve efficiency, the Revenue and Panchayat departments worked jointly, enabling several complaints to be resolved on the spot. Applications related to land demarcation, electricity, pensions, municipal services, healthcare, and land mutation were among the major issues raised by citizens.
The administration also organized a multi-service public assistance camp during the hearing. Senior citizens aged 70 years and above received Ayushman Bharat health cards, while residents also benefited from eye examinations, HIV testing, and free legal aid services, with a large number of people availing themselves of these facilities.
Additional Collector Akhilesh Jain, District Panchayat CEO Abhishek Dubey, and senior district officials from various departments attended the public hearing and ensured that all applications were processed for timely disposal.
The initiative reflects the Guna district administration’s continued focus on transparent governance, citizen-centric services, and faster grievance redressal through coordinated departmental action.
