Guna Police Crack Down on Gambling Den, 10 Arrested with ₹19,600 Cash

Guna: Guna Kotwali Police carried out a major crackdown on illegal gambling and arrested 10 gamblers during a raid at a gambling den near Hanumanta Temple in Goyal Ki Wadi. Police seized ₹19,600 in cash and a deck of playing cards from the spot.
The action was carried out on the night of August 14, 2026, following a tip-off from a reliable informant. A police team immediately reached the location, surrounded the area and caught all 10 persons allegedly gambling with money.
Police registered a case under Crime No. 471/26 and Section 13 of the Gambling Act at Guna Kotwali and initiated legal proceedings.
The operation was conducted under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Hitika Vasal, with guidance from Additional SP Prashant Singh Suman and supervision of CSP Anand Rai. Kotwali SHO Inspector Rajkumar Sharma and his team played a key role in the action.
Guna Police said strict action against gambling, betting and other illegal activities will continue across the district.
