New Delhi: An FIR has been registered at the Parliament Street Police Station in Delhi following a complaint by student Sahil, who alleged that he was injured by pellet gun pellets during a protest at Jantar Mantar. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi staged a protest at the police station for nearly six hours, demanding that the complaint be registered. Following the protest, police registered the FIR based on Sahil’s complaint. The incident has triggered a political debate, with the Congress demanding a fair and impartial investigation into the alleged use of a pellet gun during the demonstration. Police are now expected to investigate the allegations, examine available evidence and establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
