The Guna Police is conducting a rigorous campaign across the district against gambling, betting, and other illicit activities. In line with this initiative, the Bamori Police StationтАФacting swiftly on a tip-off from an informantтАФsuccessfully busted a gang operating an online betting racket.
ЁЯФН Online betting applications and websites were found active on the mobile phones of the accused, through which betting operations were being conducted in a highly organized manner.
тЪЦя╕П Cases have been registered against all the accused under the provisions of the Betting Act and the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita), and appropriate legal action has been initiated. The arrested accused were produced before the court and subsequently sent to judicial custody.
