Major Online Betting Racket Busted; Guna Police Takes Strict Action
In Guna, a major operation against illegal betting has been carried out under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Smt. Hitika Vasal. The Cantt Police Station team has exposed an organized interstate syndicate involved in running online betting operations on cricket matches.
Acting on a tip-off from an informant, the police conducted a raid in the PM Awas Road area and arrested the accused, Jayant alias Bhola (36). Upon seizing his mobile phone and conducting an investigation, the online betting network was uncovered. During interrogation, the accused revealed that 13 other accomplices were involved in the racket.
The police have registered a case against all the accused individuals and have intensified their investigation. This crackdown has created a stir among those involved in the betting trade.
